The lighting project in the metropolitan area of Bogotá included the modernisation of public installations in the city and in some neighbouring municipalities, with the aim of improving street visibility and limiting crime in certain areas. In addition to making the city streets safer, the project foresees better visual comfort for traffic.

Solution
We have supplied some 170,000 remote-controlled LED luminaires for varying applications – main roads, pedestrian areas, parks and cycle paths. For the international tender, based on the criteria of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), the specific certifications required by local regulations were submitted and the products were adapted to the market of reference.
