Relamping project in Montería: energy efficiency, increased visibility, and uniform lighting
Projects of Outdoor
Context
In Montería, the capital of the Córdoba Department in Colombia, known for its strategic role as a river port and agricultural hub, an urban relamping project was implemented to improve the quality of public lighting and reduce energy consumption. The initiative involved replacing old 250W sodium fixtures with new 111W LED street luminaires, resulting in a 60% energy saving. The outcome is more uniform lighting, improved nighttime visibility, and economic benefits for the entire community.

Solution
The project included the installation of SLCM Talede Plus street luminaires, equipped with the Optiwise optical system, which ensure the correct levels of illumination and uniformity, while maintaining low glare levels.
The structural components, top cover, frame, and pole head, are made of low-copper die-cast aluminum, providing high mechanical resistance, excellent thermal performance, and long-term reliability.
